I graduated from Royal College, Colombo, and took my first major step into music during the 2014 Bradby season. As part of a collaborative project by the Royal College Media Unit and Radio Club, FM Royal was launched.
I served as the playlist coordinator, managing a collection of over 20,000 songs that I had meticulously curated over the years. My first on-air stage name, DJ Kodikara, still brings a smile to my face—a name my friends gave me that marked the beginning of my public DJ career.
DJ Sickblaze moved to Australia, determined to level up his DJ career. Starting with small house parties organized by friends, I began to build a name for myself in a new country.
Today, Sickblaze represents more than just a DJ, it’s a blend of cultural heritage, innovation, and relentless dedication. It’s not about fitting into a genre; it’s about creating an experience.
